Olin, Hardware-wise this is EXACTLY what I'm looking for.=A0 In fact, I was looki= ng at the same 3 chips. Like I said, I'm a hardware guy and can certainly design and put together a= board for myself, but the coding (both on the PIC and the PC side) is some= thing that is beyond me. All I'm looking to do at present is to gain access to some of my motion con= trol stuff via CAN for off-line setup and tuning purposes.=A0 = You mentioned that you have some code up and working.=A0 Is this for a comm= ercial venture, or is it something you'd be willing to share? My purpose for this project is for hobby use in conjunction with my homebu= ilt CNC equipment (to do an update utilizing some newly acquired surplus se= rvo controllers). I've done exactly that as part of a side project.=A0 I will be making real boards, but for now I implemented two of these devices using our ReadyBoard-02.=A0 As far as I can tell it's working great.=A0 I've got a ho= st test app that allows for sending and receiving bus frames.=A0 I wasn't real= ly ready to put the stuff our there publicly yet, but I just uploaded the schematic to http://www.embedinc.com/temp/hcan0.pdf. ******************************************************************** Embed Inc, Littleton Massachusetts, http://www.embedinc.com/products (978) 742-9014.=A0 Gold level PIC consultants since 2000. -- = http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist -- = http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
