One thing to consider if you are truly concerned about having a 600mW transmitter close to your brain: use a Bluetooth headset and make sure that your phone is a couple of feet away from you. Bluetooth operates in the low mW region and would therefore pose less risk. You could also use an old-fashioned bag phone (actually useful in vehicles) - again, with some form of hands-free headset or speaker phone arrangement. Do keep in mind that I am simply offering alternatives. I truly don't have an opinion on whether 600mW in close proximity to my brain is dangerous or not. That said: I do use my bluetooth rig a lot - but for reasons of convenience rather than safety. Voice recognition within the phone is a wonderful improvement! dwayne -- Dwayne Reid Trinity Electronics Systems Ltd Edmonton, AB, CANADA (780) 489-3199 voice (780) 487-6397 fax www.trinity-electronics.com Custom Electronics Design and Manufacturing -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
