Hi,

Maybe you had a different one?

It says Va and Vb range is from 0 to Vdd
and Vdd range is from 2.7 V to 5.5 V, so Va and Vb maximum voltage is 5,5 V
assuming the same voltage to Vdd.

I have some samples of digital pots from MC, but never used them. But, from
datasheet, seems not a good idea to feed them with 8 V, and also seems
correct to not working with a negative voltage.
