Spaces instead of tabs.

Short lines.

Only send as much of the code as needed to diagnose the problem.

Send yourself the email first to see if it gets mangled. If it looks OK,
 then send it to the list.

Resist the temptation to reply to any comments about formatting, it only
fans the flames :)
