Probably the best part compared to the high-end 18Fs, is not having to deal with the "rom" and "ram" qualifiers. You get a lot of bang for the buck: 40 MIPs, 128K of ROM and 8K of RAM cost only $3.50. Even though we haven't had to migrate to a PIC32 yet, the path is very straightforward.
