Good point.  Do we even know that the sensor sample he is measuring now is
in normal working order?  This OP hasn't exactly been overwhelming us
competence, so maybe his test unit has long been fried.

"Seems" is the most important word.  Until the OP tells us clearly what
exactly he hooked each of the leads to and between what two nodes he
measured 50mV, we're just wasting our time speculating.
