Great!, I added a power jack, spliced into the 5 volt leads, heat shrank the loose ends that were in a connector, a little soldering, and it's up and running on my backup PC with a desktop 5VDC power supply. Will have to get a 5VDC switching wall wart with next order. Still would be nice to fix the problem, but this works. :) :) Thanks again.
