Hi there... That's an unexpected surprise! Part of the motivation for asking the group is to get an idea of how hard they are to come by... I see a few hobby-type projects in my future which would benefit from rechargeable batteries, and I would build the recharging circuitry in to the device.... so, my goal is to learn one 'style'/chemistry of recharging, and it seems prudent to learn the li-ion/poly style, and standardize on that. Then just keep using the same methodology in the future. If you have some available cells I would be very interested... perhaps we can take it off-list... but, depending on price I am willing to help someone unload perhaps a dozen cells to keep on hand for the next few years, or, just a few to get me going, and attempt to source some more in the next year or so. If what I am rambling makes sense to you, then drop me a note (rolf@tuis.net) with how many you can spare, and what price you want for them... the quantity I am interested in depends largely on the price ;-) Thanks Rolf microsoftwarecontrol wrote: > I have some, standard size 2000mAh. > > > ----- Original Message ----- > From: "Rolf" > To: "Microcontroller discussion list - Public." > Sent: Tuesday, September 01, 2009 10:25 PM > Subject: [OT] Source for li-ion/li-poly cells in Canada > > > >> Hi all.. >> >> I am looking for a few >> [snip] >> Anyone have any ideas? >> >> Thanks >> >> Rolf >> -- >> http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive >> View/change your membership options at >> http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist >> > __________________________________________________ > Do You Yahoo!? > Tired of spam?
