Yes, it is. I'd like to update my page with it next time I do some
revisions. Although most micros now have multiple A2D pins the
digital method still comes in handy. Similarly a digital o/p can
perform two tasks. For instance time-filtering a pulse with RC to
either clock or reset a counter - long pulse reset, short pulse
clock

Gus may want to have a look here for a 12-bit SD convertor
using 2 digital I/O
