Also, to get heat into the Beetle, you had to open a window an inch. Lots of people complained about lack of heat, but open the window an bit, and keep the RPM's up, and things were just fine. Also if you came to a cross street where the snow plow left a windrow of snow in your path, turn around and back through it.
