:: Slide these thru the holes on the board, then push the connector
:: sideways a bit to make sure all the pins are making contact with
:: their holes.

Apart from copyright/patent problems, why not just add in two locating 
lug holes/pins to 'clip' the connector to the board similar to the 
Tag-Connect cables?

Shame they are so expensive - ( sorry Don :)  ).
