Olin, some people seem to have problems with reading a *whole* text. = RTFTE (=3D read the f*** text entirely) I said twice now, that everything is ready, all components in place, all soldered, all assembled, all wired. Capito? *Of course* I would prefer a professional jumper or even better a switch or a bluetooth port to make a wireless setup or, or, or and *of course* I would add a current limiting R and a defined C if I were at the beginning or even close to the end of my pcb design. My idea is *strange* as the topic says. But also sometimes strange ideas lead to good results... The good thing with my idea is, that you can use it with ready made devices which have an unused PIC pin near by any Vdd or Vdd pad. = Just a software item... If you want a solder blob to select between two models, It would be better to put proper pads for that and pull up or down resistor and maybe a 100pF or so holding cap. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist -- = http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
