Are you wanting to use one of the timers,RTCC or just looping?

Microchip C library for Pic24/30/33 series for XLCD has some loop 
delays for 500nS to 15mS.

The code for the learning to use Pic24's by Lucio di Jasio has timer 
based ones.

I think you can download the code from the books website . I beleive 
there is a link on th euChip website or at www.books.elsevier.com
