Gus, was this thread meant as a troll? It's a serious question, I can't 
tell. :-)

First you say that you want to make a gyro that turns into a giant ball of 
cotton with a gas-inflatable parachute... then you call us "nannies" for 
trying to point out that you want to make it *too* safe?
