Deaths per pilot, of course. :) While flying a private GA aircraft is several times more dangerous on a mile per mile basis, you also have to look at the ratio of miles driven vs miles flown by an average pilot. Of course I may be full of it, since this last metric is from my own observations and anecdotal evidence.
