What I need is a DC-DC converter for 17A for only the first 1 minute, then = the system will need only 5A Vdc input 24 V from 2 batt (truck) VDC output 24V. I know that is dificult = to make a DC DC with the same input and output, I think that I can use a Bo= ost-buck configuration for this. Any suggestions? = Pablo = > From: m@lkeng.net > Date: Sat, 18 Jul 2009 09:56:32 -0400 > Subject: Re: [EE], MC34063 for 20A > To: piclist@mit.edu > = > On Fri, Jul 17, 2009 at 2:52 PM, Pablo Ginhson wrot= e: > > > > Hello to all, > > > > Has anyone do it a DC-DC converter with this IC, MC34063, for current a= round 20A? > > > > I do it with an external mosfet for 3A and work very well, but I don=B4= t be sure if this IC can work with an external P MOSFET for 20A. > > > > If anyone have any suggestion, will be good. > > > > Thanks to all > > > > > > > > Pablo Ginhson > = > What are your input and output voltages, and what does the circuit > look like?
