Personally I'd use some ball race drawer slides maybe with a return spring to allow the Dremel to go back up after you've pushed it down. They have around 0.1mm slack in them if you get some semi decent ones and will set you back a couple of your strange $ each I've got a stack of precision ones here I got at a good price when I was intending to use them to make a basic CNC machine but went to proper linear rails and bearings in the end.
