This allow you to place enough to qualify for the free shipping, and at the same time get your urgent part fast and the filler at a later date. b. some items do not have free shipping. This is easily overlooked, I got hit the last time when they were charging US$20 flat fee, and that item took the fee to US$80. Mouser was not responsive at all, I had to refuse acceptance at my door and claimed back from the Visa.
