I don't use glossy photo paper or magazines. Neither of them worked
for me. I use a matte presentation paper made by Epson. It was locally
available and works the best for me.

I also don't use an iron though, getting good results with an iron was
too tricky. I instead use a paper laminator. I disassembled it and
mounted it to a piece of wood. I run the board through a good 20 times
or so. I wear gloves so I don't transfer oils to the copper and
because the board gets really hot.
