Sounds like to me the, the timer contacts are stuck closed. The timer contacts AND the door switch are wired in series. Both must be closed for the motor to run. Depending on the controls, the door switch could be only an input to the timer assembly, and a relay, or CPU to actually control the motor. Many times there is a wiring diagram on one of the removable panels. Or Google for the model number and manual or schematic, etc. Should be able to find a wiring schematic on line, and possibly even a repair manual with troubleshooting that will identify the offending part. This is a safety issue, and should be corrected! In the mean time disconnect the power from the unit. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
