I am looking for an USB cable connector (preferable full-size B, but any 
other would be fine too) that extends little above the device as 
possible. The idea is that someone who slides his arm or leg or chair 
along the surface of the device probably does not harm the 
connector/cable/device.

Failing that, a suggestion for any other connector that would be usable 
with USB and is very low? I know the are right-angle 6.3mm jacks for 
guitars that have this property, but they are only 3 pin.
