Often (sometime once per hour but sometime more) the ICD2 and MPLab stop 
communicating and you need to
- set MPLab to no debugger (same problem occurs in programmer mode but 
it is in debug that cause problems)
- disconnect the ICD2 from the circuit
- disconnect the ICD2 from the USB cable
- wait some second
- connect the ICD2 to the USB
- enable the debugger in MPLAB
- connect the ICD2 to the circuit
Some times you must retry the operation...
I read that more people accuse this "disturb"!
With Win 2000 it not happens, I can work hours...

I have two ICD2 both original but different version and I noted no
