Hi all,
Using ICD2 with XP it's a pain...
So I'm currently using mine with Windows 2000 and MPLab 8.20 (and from 
some days with 8.33).
It's working very well, without problems!

Actually the Win 2000 is in a virtual machine of VMWare Workstation 
6.5.2 and with the "Unity" option it shares the screen with other 
windows like if it was "native".
