>Kevin, I have a feeling that you don't understand what STM4100 is. It is a >module that has all the features of the SparkFun DIP (on-board 5V regulator, >development-friendly connector), and in addition also has circuitry that >allows it to automatically go "bus-off" when a serial or USB cable is >plugged into the same circuit. It has a much smaller vertical profile, and >requires only a 2x6 2mm header on one side (so it does not intrude as much >on the host PCB). I was talking about a different spark fun device: http://www.sparkfun.com/commerce/product_info.php?products_id=582 Which I think the profile is about the same, but is considerably more expensive, and longer. Do you know how to get to the documentation for the STM4100 ? The data sheet listed with the device is basically specifications and dimensions, no command set for the device.
