I was actually browsing the Maxim site since they visited me today
(for DAC and ADCs). But then I notice that they have the IR MCU
suddenly. Then I noticed that Zilog has sold of the IR MCU and
ARM9 Secured MCU lines to Maxim.

I learned about the Z80 along with Intel MCS51 for my university
MCU course. Nobody was interested in the Z80 then since 8051 and
8098 was popular at that time in China. But the lab equipment
was there and the teacher thought it was not too bad to teach
Z80 before the next course (8088 assembly and PC interface).
