Gus: All metals have different chemical properties. Putting any 2 (non-noble; i.e., gold, platinum) metals together creates a very small galvanic charge that eventually will corrode one or both metals. In the case of aluminum, if you want to make it non-reactive, you can have the aluminum "passivated" . See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Passivation I have used this process many times to prevent aluminum corrosion. It is not cheap so it depends on your application.
