Yes it is kind of standard here as well. The following is from a module done by the Tech-Communication team for an Distributed I/O module developed by my colleagues. The software used is FrameMaker. http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/in/1734-in033_-en-p.pdf http://literature.rockwellautomation.com/idc/groups/literature/documents/in/1734-in034_-en-p.pdf We call this installation instructions. Sometimes another user guide with more information (especially with more host software side information) will be published as well. Last time, it took me a while to get used to FrameMaker but it was not too difficult to use, actually quite similar to Word, just with more control. But what I did was a research paper with some drawings (from Saber simulation and scope capture) and formulas (from Mathematica), not a datasheet. Still some power users of Word (and Excel) can do a lot of interesting thing as well. -- Xiaofan http://mcuee.blogspot.com -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
