I (and many others) don't like the new display blending choices;  IIRC  
there is a way to revert to the old style...

I haven't seen any conversion problems.  The biggest compatibility  
issue I've seen in in polygons with zero-area "tails." (0,0) (0,1) (1,  
1) (1,0) (2,0) (0,0), which the new version complains about but the  
old version would fill properly...
