By the way, it is highly recommended that you buy the Explorer 16 demo
board and the associated PICtail+ USB and USB PIM for PIC24. Then
you can play with the demos. I am still more on the device side and
have not played too much with the host/otg side.

PIC24 USB starter kit is cheaper but more limited.
