I don't think so, at least not in plastic or FR4 holes. The pin collar would simply go through forcing its was on. I think that one needs a 20um collar to feel it in plastic. 20um is only 5% of the diameter for a 0.5mm hole. Either that or these pin gauges are collar-less.
