I'm happy with the entry level Samsung printers at home. (I have two but
don't have the model numbers handy.) They're cheap and fast.  Frequently
<$100 at Fry's.

I have been using the Minolta Pagepro 1350W Laser printer at home for a long
time, it is fast, low cost and easy to maintain. 

My son has given it a hard time ever since he found this thing can eat
paper, and most of the plastic parts my son can access are either broken or
missing because of that, but it still working  great.

I cannot find this particular model on the local market anymore, curious
what kind of low cost Laser printer you guys are using these days, which can
substitute My "Pagepro 1350W Laser printer" role in the near future.

I too have another HP P1006 laser printer at home (dedicated for my wife).
Compare with the Minolta one, it's a loser, low cost but low performance,
speed is slow compare with 1350W, and toner replacement is not cheap and not
easy to find.

On my office, the Brother HL-4040CN color laser printer is great. But not
suit for home use.
