We have the old World Edition 500GB (first generation) > and we like it. But the speed is not that fast. I just bought an Iomega Home Media NAS. I chose it for a few reasons. First off I'm not at home and this one was available here. Second, I wanted something that would work seamlessly across Mac and PC. And thirdly I wanted something expandable. So far I've been fairly satisfied. It started up just fine, easy to access over the network, and seems relatively speedy. Haven't tried multiple users really hammering it yet though. I like that it has a USB host built in and will write to NTFS - something that I had trouble finding. The iTunes server is a nice bonus and actually seems to work just fine. Supposedly it will stream to compatible network media players but I haven't tested that yet.
