Filezilla (http://filezilla-project.org/) is pretty easy to use and is
cross platform.

Fedora (http://fedoraproject.org/) has a live CD and, I think, supports
NTFS drives (I think I used it to deal with a USB hard drive before I
changed it to ext3).
