First off, the words in the subject line are yours, not mine. I did not agree with James on a lot of things, and was not afraid to tell him when I thought that what he was doing, was wrong. In the end, we got along despite our differences, because he was tolerant of criticism and never pulled rank ("I'm an admin, so you should listed to what I say"). Second off, I'm not fighting with the admins, only with your singular vision of what the PICList should become. >> Noise in response to what? "Transparent" would mean the warnings and action notifications (so-and-so was banned/was put on moderation) get posted on-list. Why is that more difficult to do, than sending private emails to the parties involved? >> > Maybe I should put them under moderation? My objective is simple and clear: I want you to stop telling me that my posts "are not welcome" or "forbidden" not because I'm breaking the rules, but simply because you feel that way. And I want you to stop doing it to other people. > If you would stop being spring-loaded to the "outraged and offended" > position, and maybe switch to decaf, you might notice that the admins > are doing their job and you can do your job. So, I'm, like, totally relaxed, dude... > If you wish to continue a verbal assault, email it to > piclist-owner@mit.edu but don't clutter the Piclist with it. No thanks, Bob. If you wish to have a private email exchange, you should send me a private message. As I've told you before, for as long as you continue pushing your personal agenda on-list, I will continue to challenge you, on-list.
