The friend of mine uses an old HP laser (will ask the exact type). He described the method as he heats up the paper with an iron for a minute or so, then use a rubber roll he firmly presses the paper to the clad board and then let it cool down. The roller is a small type you can buy in the DIY shop in the painting section. Then he removes the paper by putting the whole thing into water and after letting it there for a while he removes the paper by his fingers. I never tried this technique by myself but he says the key is the roll as you need to transfer the toner without a single mistake and the PCB does not have a perfectly flat surface so an iron could not do a proper job by itself.
