I got sick of stiff and clunky single stranded wire to prototype with. That sort of wire is great for breadboard, but for veroboards, there's a lot better wire. This wire needs to be thin, flexible and multi-stranded. So I went into my basement and found 20 x twenty-year-old serial mice with very long cables. They're useless now so I decided to rip the cable apart and get the wire. There were about 10 wires in each cable and I had a lot of mice, so this wire should last me a very long time. It was really easy to strip, solder and use. It bent around things easily and worked like a charm. I remember I made a thread about this a while ago and everyone recommended me stiff, single-stranded wire. I hated using those on my first prototype. I'm glad I found this new wire in my basement. -- solarwind -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
