Hi Andre, Although I have no libraries to offer, in the past when I have done animations I have always just used a custom character and write a new definition for it for each frame. Although it takes 8 bytes each time it means you don't have to reposition the cursor so it is transparent to any other text functions. Also, you can scroll the entire window using the builtin memory of the display but unfortunately it scrolls all lines at once. Cheerful regards, Bob Andre Abelian wrote: > Hi to all, > > I am working with 2x16 character LCD with CCS c compiler and pic18f6520. > I want to add a few things: scrolling text, char animation like "-\/" etc. > My question is does anyone have any software that can share or point me to > right > directions to get more familiar with techniques etc. > any info will appreciate. > > Thanks > > Andre > > -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
