I used to shave every day, I would typically get several months out of a 
blade with one of the 2 blade ones.
I now shave once every few weeks, (about due now actually)
I think in the past 10 or so years I have gone through about 10 or 15 
blades, could be 25.

But I don't really notice them getting blunt. Sometimes I'll change one 
just for the fun of it mainly and I'll be surprised at the difference, I 
think the main thing is probably technique, find something that works 
for you, don't use too much pressure, As i recall its not the hair that 
dulls the blade but your skin.
