I expect to be in Hong Kong & China from February 8th to February 19th, and 
Singapore Feb 19th to Feb 23rd.Business 8 Feb till ?15th? and hopefully some 
touristy stuff after that. Business may extend into the tourist space. 
Singapore stopover is pure tourist - I've never been there.

0.   Techo stuff:   Anyone with suggestions of useful electronic things to 
look at / look for / buy / ask about in HK or southern China, please comment 
. Also Singapore - but seems less likely. (Shenzhen seems like a probable 
target for this).

1. NEWSLETTER:    If anyone would like to receive my variable frequency 
variable length variably meritorious email newsletters and maybe the odd 
photo please advise as below. Apologies to those who said yes last time and 
who didn't get emails. Gathering a list can be harder than expected. See at 
end

2. Southern China sights.
I may have a few days in Southern China area - Macau Shenzhen and beyond. if 
I get maximum free time I may just possibly consider a flight to Lhasa, 
Tibet, but probably not.
Any suggestions on what to see in areas nearish to Hong Kong welcomed. Cheap 
coach trips OK if recommended. Nothing flash.

3. SINGAPORE SIGHTS:
Any suggestions re how to best spend 3 full days in Singapore would be 
welcomed. I don't know if a quick dash into Malaysia is sensible or 
realistic? Wall to wall rushing around is fine.

4.  SINGAPORE ACCOMMODATION.

Any suggestions re Singapore accommodation welcomed.
I aim for low cost when I'm paying - secure lockup of gear and an almost 
clean room is enough. Own room preferred but dorm acceptable.
OR
Any offers of a place to sleep also welcomed - a most space to sleep (spot 
on a not too hard floor is entirely fine) and a secure place to leave PC and 
camera gear is about all I need - showering & more are bonuses :-).
