However, it seems to be a bad assumption that training "ordinary people" to a sufficient level of "computer literacy" would cause them to reach the same nirvana. I tend to see this in many sorts of artists, BTW. They're happy, even eager, to teach you everything they know about how they make their Art, in the hope that it will bring you as much joy as it brings them.
