I'm starting to get worried about running out of time, so I'll probably implement a purely electromechanical solution for the short term. I was trying to figure out a way to electronically mute the input so that then I could get fancy with the footswitch. Press and hold to talk, or press quickly and release to lock on. Press quickly again to unlock. Thanks!
