But you can't get all four corners to register exactly. Also, laser printers go faster and slower as the paper goes through. So even if you could get all four corners to line up, in between there would be registration errors between the two sides. But if you are careful you can do coarse stuff on smallish boards. Hey, go for it. You will see what the limitations are and if you're doing the layout yourself you can design accordingly. Use big vias with room around them.
