We're using these in our scan tools: http://tinyurl.com/5c96xe Sparkfun took the same module, and created their own breakout box: http://tinyurl.com/8eskke In turn, we developed a similar board with the same pinout, and added three LEDs (Tx/Rx/Status) to make it interesting. We went as far as building a prototype, but the project was put on hold due to lack of interest. I can post the schematics/board layout if anyone is interested. My question is, at what price point would a module like that become attractive to hobbyists?
