Maybe there's a DNS somewhere that's been poisoned and is occasionally pointing google's scanning machines to some other host entirely? A bit unlikely perhaps but Evil Guys tend to do pretty off the wall things to grow their botnets. Is there any way to get google to tell you the IP address that "your" pages were fetched from when the scan was positive? I think I'm right in saying that occasionally banner ads with recently crafted exploits have been served from otherwise reputable ad servers too, might have been that sort of thing that got you tagged as a malware distributer. I came across an auto redirect to one of those: "Oh NO!!!! I've just scanned your pc for free without asking you and found all sorts of Trojans and other nasties in there!!! Don't worry, all is not lost, just download and run this free software for me will you?" ... sites whilst using an iphone the other day. It was fun to see all the wasted effort that went into putting up convincing error messages telling me that the c:\windows directory and DVD drive on my non windows device was infected :) Cheers, Robin. -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
