I just downloaded and tried the latest MPLAB (8.15a) on my vista 64 bit system and have the real ice working. This MPLAB comes with 64 bit XP and Vista drivers for most of the microchip programmers and debuggers, and has been out for a little while. Just thought there might be a few others who hadn't heard that might want to know. One less reason to keep the old xp laptop around. Now if I could get Atmel to support Vista 64 for their Arm and AVR32 lines... As a point of data: - I've only tried real ice with a simple example LED program, programming, reading, breakpoints, single stepping, etc all appear to work - I'm running Vista Ultimate (I don't know what the differences are practically, but I've heard that it makes a difference for some software - don't know about mplab) - I'm running the pic32 - haven't tried any other processors/setups/etc -Adam -- Please rate and vote for my contest entry: http://mypic32.com/web/guest/profiles?profileID=50331 -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
