It is. And I personally have no problems whatsoever with people talking 
about such things in [OT].

*BUT* I note that entirely reasonable and responsible posts such as WCW's 
can lead in only a few iterations to hate filled invective and flaming * 
extroadinaire. Why this should be so is beyond my comprehension as I have no 
great vested interest in the promotion on any family of operating systems. 
[I happen to very largely use ones which work well enough for me while 
pining for the freedom, vast spiritual experience, apple pie and mother hood 
promised by the other guys - but the effort is too hard and the 
compatability not good enough for my rut guided paths so I remain trapped 
where I am).

SO by all means continue, but PLEASE let this be an intelligent and 
reasonable discourse and let it not turn into a 'my O/S is better than your 
O/S' session.
