Many thanks for the link to Electronix Express.

We use a LOT of Veroboard (stripboard) and, not only is each new 
order always more expensive than the last batch, but its also 
becoming increasingly harder to find.

Veroboard is great stuff for quick prototypes and for one-off special 
projects.  It takes new engineers a while to get the "knack" of doing 
good layouts but its valuable experience.
