> I myself do not use VM. But people have good > experience with VMware and it is said that > PICkit 2, ICD 2 and Real ICE all work well. In class we use VMware with my pcikit2-clone-board. Works OK. Occasionally a USB port is connected to the wrong machine (host instead of the simulated one), plugging into a different USB outlet solves this (re-plugging into the same often does not). AFAIK VMware is the only virtualiser that handles USB. -- Wouter van Ooijen -- ------------------------------------------- Van Ooijen Technische Informatica: www.voti.nl consultancy, development, PICmicro products docent Hogeschool van Utrecht: www.voti.nl/hvu -- http://www.piclist.com PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist
