That's it, I've had enough.

Solarwind's laziness, deluging the PIClist with whatever pops into his mind
that second, ignoring much of the advice he specifically asked for, and
failure to quote relevant parts of a message to provide context - all
despite repeatedly being told about them by various people - are annoying
enough.  However, we shouldn't have to put up with direct and deliberate
insults like this one.

Solarwind should have been suspended from the PIClist for a week the first
time he did this.  This is now at least the third time, with no meaningful
response from admins (yes, I did look ahead this time).

I am going to unsubscribe from the PIClist for at least a week in protest,
and I invite others to do the same.

Note that this is not meant to hurt anyone or "take my ball and go home".  I
don't have any dillusions that the PIClist would somehow fall apart if I
wasn't there.  It's not some him or me ultimatum.  This is simply a protest
to draw attention to the point.
