The format of the card is an issue, Fat is limited to 2 gig, but some cards only will go to 1 Gig is more common. Most 2 Gig and the larger cards are formated FAT32. Google 8 gig sd card or something like that for more info. This doesn't answer your question directly, but hope it helps keeps from not getting what works.
